This is a collaboration, with artists Keira Bill and Joshua Gutoman, and a project made up of cyanotype prints surrounding the themes of ‘society’ and ‘mental health.’ The title ‘What’s Weighing you Down?’ is a metaphorical relation to mental health as a wider topic, and so we contributed to this by literally collecting the objects of others that had the potential to ‘weigh us down’ in our pockets etc. Then, over the course of three weeks in the darkroom, we created several prints and hung them on a washing-line scene in the park of our university campus (All Saints Park).
